A record number of restaurants are participating in a long time Quad Cities dining event.

The 12th annual QC Restaurant Week is April 8-14 and will have over 100 area restaurants participating. The event emphasizes the key contributions local restaurants make to the area’s identity and economy. It urges diners to broaden their culinary horizons by trying dishes from participating businesses and supporting the thriving local food scene.

“We’re thrilled to have reached a new milestone in QC Restaurant Week participation,” said Lindsey Row, Director of Public Relations and Communications at Visit Quad Cities. “This accomplishment not only reflects the enthusiasm Quad Citizens have for our local hospitality scene but also underscores the dedicated efforts of Visit Quad Cities professional staff. We look forward to hosting giveaways, promoting restaurant specials and sharing the excitement of Restaurant Week with our community next month.”

One of the week’s highlights is the Surprise a Server program, which honors outstanding people in the local restaurant industry. Nearly 200 nominations were received from the public last year and five nominees were honored for their exemplary customer service. The program returns in 2024, spotlighting those who go above and beyond. Nominations for Surprise a Server 2024 will be open until March 25.
